Our first project complete! Welcome to our chicken coop. We are proud to have acquired the endangered Buckeye Chicken. A species native to Ohio and very well adapted to our winters. They are dual purpose chickens which lay large brown eggs and taste great in the broiler! We have all the necessary provisions and they have been with us three days. So far no signs and no worries of predators. We are officially farming! Would you look at us go! Below are a few more project pictures.
